LANGUAGES
We concentrate on Western European languages including French, German, Italian and Spanish, all to and from English. We can also offer Polish, Russian and other Eastern European languages. If you require another European language, we should be able to help.
PRICING
The price of your translation will depend on the file type, volume of text, language, and the level of specialization and terminology research required. We will be delighted to provide you with a free, personalised quote prior to taking on any assignment.
Please note that we have minimum charges for small jobs of less than 500 words.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
English-language proofreading, editing and copywriting
We will rectify spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and inconsistencies. We have an eye for detail and will pick up on punctuation no-nos, missing or superfluous words and poor style. Indeed, we often bring source text errors to our clients’ attention even during our regular translation work.
Our services range from offering suggestions on style and content through to copywriting and ghostwriting.
Terminology review
Companies working in a fast-paced environment characterized by rapid change may find that their terminology management gets left behind. Absence of style guides or a change of staff may find your company’s annual report talking about its Managing Board one minute, the Management Board the next - and signed off by its Board of Management.
Inconsistencies like this may not seem important, but they can make all the difference to your firm’s image. If your lax terminology control extends to the names of your departments and descriptions of your products and core business activities, you will confuse your readers and undermine their confidence in your company.
We can review and consolidate your corporate terminology and offer tips on developing coherent in-house style.
